Nobile Construction Uses GPS Wireless Technology to Become More Efficient During Slowed Economy

In operation since 1955, Nobile Construction provides Connecticut’s shoreline residents with kitchen, bath and full home remodel services. The company has worked with over 1,500 customers in the past 15 years, with 50 percent of them being repeat business.

Nobile Construction has experienced challenges from the volatile residential construction market, but has always been able to hold its ground. However, after encountering a recent overall decline in remodel requests, the company recognized it needed to find ways to make the business run more efficiently – especially when it came to collecting employee timecards. With its carpenters traveling from job to job, management gathered timesheets on a weekly basis. Additionally, the office is able to do job costing for each client on a daily basis, which has improved the company’s cash flow.
