Santa Clara, CA and Toronto, ON – Feb. 12, 2007 – TeleNav Inc. and Rogers Wireless (TSX: RCI; NYSE: RG) today announced that Rogers Wireless customers will be the first in Canada to have access to the award-winning TeleNav GPS Navigator. The service, which will be available for $10 per month for unlimited use beginning March 6th, provides turn-by-turn, GPS-enabled driving directions directly from BlackBerry® handsets, including the new BlackBerry 8800, announced separately today. Like an in-car navigation system, TeleNav GPS Navigator provides customers with access to full-color 3D moving maps, voice and on-screen navigation, and information and directions to millions of business listings in North America, including nearby Wi-Fi hotspots. Unlike an in-car navigation system, TeleNav GPS Navigator is conveniently available on mobile devices, includes automatically updated maps and business information, and can be used in pedestrian mode for turn-by-turn directions while walking. Features of TeleNav GPS Navigator include: • Voice and on-screen turn-by-turn driving directions – Customers enter or use voice recognition to call in their destinations and TeleNav GPS Navigator computes their routes. As they drive, they will get up-to-the minute guidance and will automatically be re-routed if they miss a turn. They can also preview their routes before they begin driving and specify preferences including highways and streets. • Full-color 3D moving maps – Just like an in-car navigation system, the 3D maps turn, move and stop as the driver does the same, while also displaying a realistic image of the streets the driver is approaching and streets they are passing. Users can also pan and zoom around the map to view surrounding streets. • Biz Finder – Customers can look up businesses and services, including ATMs, restaurants, hotels, Wi-Fi hotspots and gas stations and easily navigate to them with the click of a button. • Spot Marker – Users can mark waypoints to help find their way back to a location or to mark points of interest. • Pedestrian Mode –TeleNav GPS Navigator can be used while walking, to help guide customers on long walks or through crowded downtown streets. • My Favorites – Customers can save as many addresses as they want for easy access and directions later. “Our expansion into Canada proves that mobile-phone based navigation has become the first choice for many people across North America,” said Dr. H.P. Jin, president, CEO and co-founder of TeleNav. “An increasing number of mobile customers are realizing that there is no reason to invest in expensive navigation devices or worry about printing out directions.” To purchase TeleNav GPS Navigator, Rogers Wireless customers can download the application directly from their wireless device beginning March 6th. It will be available initially on the BlackBerry® 8800, the BlackBerry® 8700 and the BlackBerry® Pearl™. A Bluetooth GPS receiver is required for non-GPS enabled mobile handsets. Ongoing subscription to the service costs $10.00 per month for unlimited trips (a Rogers Wireless data plan is also required). For a limited time, TeleNav is offering customers the ability to use TeleNav GPS Navigator while traveling in the United States at no additional charge.* An ongoing updated list of Rogers Wireless mobile devices that support TeleNav GPS Navigator can be found at www.telenav.com. *International data roaming charges from Rogers Wireless may apply.
