Sunnyvale, Calif. – October 22, 2007—TeleNav, Inc., the first company to launch a GPS service for cell phones in the U.S., today announced it has won two Gold Mobile Star Awards™ from MobileVillageŽ, the 14-year leader in market development and news services about mobile technology.

The annual Mobile Star Awards aim to honor and promote the best companies, products, deployments and leaders in mobile and wireless technology. Winners are chosen by subscribers to Go MobileŽ, MobileVillage’s free online newsletter sent to technology executives, mobile professionals, IT managers, developers and top tech journalists.

TeleNav has been recognized with the following awards:

• Gold Star, Consumer Software: Navigation / Location-Based Services, for TeleNav GPS Navigator™ service
• Gold Star, Enterprise Software: GPS / Location-Based Services, for TeleNav Track™ service

The most recent version incorporates social-networking components such as location sharing and business reviews. The service also features real-time traffic alerts and one-click rerouting with an estimated time of arrival (ETA) always displayed.

TeleNav Track leverages GPS and wireless technologies to provide a complete mobile workforce management system. It includes a variety of essential business management features, including GPS-enabled tracking / reporting and navigation, wireless job dispatching, flexible wireless forms and wireless barcode scanning.
