Directions
Getting directions to your next destination with TeleNav Shotgun is as easy as entering a destination address. TeleNav offers you several easy-to-use and convenient options for getting directions. You don’t need to enter a starting point. TeleNav Shotgun uses GPS to locate you.
Drive To Menu
To get GPS directions, tap Drive To from the main menu.
Input the destination address in one of several ways:
- My Favorites: Places that you have found and saved in the past so you can quickly access them.
- Recent Places: TeleNav Shotgun automatically saves all of the places that you used for navigation (addresses that you entered either as an origin or destination).
- Address: Use the keypad to enter an address.
- Intersection: Use the keypad to enter cross streets.
- Business: Search for and navigate to a business.
- City: Enter a city name or zip code to get driving directions to the center of the city.
- Airport: Enter the three-character airport code. Once you have entered your destination, tap Go to get GPS directions.
TeleNav Shotgun calculates an optimal route to your destination and tells you how to start your trip.
While you are driving:
- Automatic Reroute: If you miss a turn, TeleNav Shotgun will automatically reroute you back on track.
- Traffic Summary: TeleNav Shotgun monitors traffic and provides you with real-time alerts along your route. If a traffic incident is identified, TeleNav Shotgun will give you the option to intelligently reroute around the traffic or continue on your course.
To access other navigation views, tap Nav Options during a navigation session.
