How many business listings reside locally on the device?
Over 11 million business listings are preloaded on TeleNav Shotgun.

What happens if the device is out of wireless range?
When not in wireless coverage, users can access the preloaded business listings and continue to use the navigation features, just like a traditional personal navigation device (PND).

What is included with TeleNav Connected Service?
TeleNav's Connected Service includes real-time traffic alerts and one-tap rerouting, Internet searching with over 11 million business listings and online pre-planning. Also included are continuous updates of maps and businesses, in addition to automatically receiving new features as they are made available.

Can I still use TeleNav Shotgun without the monthly service?
Even if you choose not to subscribe after your initial three-month trial period, you'll still have a great GPS device with onboard maps, preloaded business listings (11 million) and other great features. It will simply be missing the connected features such as real-time traffic and online pre-planning.

Where does TeleNav Shotgun work?
TeleNav Shotgun currently works in the 50 states of the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico. TeleNav Connected Service works only in the U.S. where there is network coverage for the TeleNav Connected Service.

What kind of traffic information do you use?
As does TeleNav GPS Navigator™, TeleNav Shotgun uses traffic data from multiple sources including GPS probe data from commercial fleets and DOT road sensor data. Our traffic partner is Inrix, a company that has received numerous accolades for its traffic technology and information.

How is traffic information shared or displayed?
TeleNav Shotgun will monitor traffic along a driver's route and proactively alert them of any incidents or congestion. With one tap, drivers can choose to search for an alternative route. They can also choose to ignore traffic and continue along their original route.

How do I start or stop capturing mileage?
You can capture your mileage by pressing the Start Capture button while in navigation or map mode. Mileage capture automatically ends when you end your trip, exit map view, or power off the device. You can also stop mileage capture by tapping the Stop Capture button.

Can I have two mileage captures in a trip?
Yes. You can start/stop mileage capture as many times as you wish in a trip or on a map. For example, you can capture only some parts of your trip but not others by tapping on the Start/Stop Capture button.

How can I label my mileage for different trips?
Trip names can be automatically assigned or you can specify a name for your trips. To assign a trip name, go to Preferences, then tap Mileage Capture.

How far back in time can I generate mileage reports?
You can generate reports within the last 24 months. The Start and End dates must be no more than 12 months apart.

Will I still have mileage capture for a segment of a trip that is out of network coverage?
Yes. When you are back in network coverage, your mileage capture data will be sent back to our servers.

What is the benefit of being connected over a wireless network vs. using an FM transmitter?
Compared to an FM transmitter, connectivity over a wireless network means that more data can be sent to the device and that the device can send information back to the servers.

How many POIs does TeleNav Shotgun include?
TeleNav Shotgun contains over 11 million business listings preloaded on the device. For users who are on the TeleNav Connected Service, the business listings will continue to grow as we update our listings with relevant data from third-party providers and other sources. Connected users will also benefit with regularly updated content, such as gas prices.

Does TeleNav Shotgun have phone capabilities?
No, TeleNav Shotgun is not a phone.
