Sprint Activation

Sprint PCS (CDMA) BlackBerry (7130e, 8703e, 8130, 8330 or 8830)

Download TeleNav
If you purchase TeleNav service from a Sprint store, within 24 hours, you will get a text message with a link to download TeleNav. Go to the link (URL) within the text message and then see “Installing TeleNav” below. You can also download TeleNav GPS Navigator to your BlackBerry by clicking the TeleNav icon in the Home Screen. If you don’t see the message or the icon after 24 hrs, go to http://rim.telenav.com/sites/sprbbmktg/7130e.html for BlackBerry 7130e, http://rim.telenav.com/sites/sprbbmktg/8703e.html for BlackBerry 8703e, and http://rim.telenav.com/sites/sprbbmktg/ for BlackBerry 8130, 8330 and 8830.

  1. Select BlackBerry Browser from the Home Screen
  2. Click the Trackwheel and select “Goto...”
  3. After “http://” enter “rim.telenav.com/sites/sprbbmktg/7130e.html” or “rim.telenav.com/sites/sprbbmktg/8703e.html” or “rim.telenav.com/sites/sprbbmktg/”
  4. Click the Trackwheel and select OK.

Installing TeleNav

  1. Once you have located the download site for TeleNav, you should see “Audible GPS Navigation and Business Finder on Your BlackBerry”
  2. If you have a 7130e, verify you have the correct software using instructions on the page.
  3. Highlight “Download”, click the Trackwheel and select OK. Another Download screen should appear.
  4. Highlight “Download” again and select OK.
  5. After the installation completes, select TeleNav icon from the home screen and click the Trackwheel
  6. 6. Using the Trackwheel, click both checkboxes, then scroll down and select “Allow this Connection” and check the box that reads “Allow all socket connections”
  7. Select proper language, and then click “Accept + Login” using the Trackwheel to accept terms and start login.
  8. Enter your phone number and the last 4 digits of your phone number as the Password or PIN.
  9. Click the Trackwheel and select “Submit” to start using TeleNav GPS Navigator.

Within 24 hours of purchasing TeleNav, you will get a text message with a link to download TeleNav. Go to the link (URL) within the text message and then see “Installing TeleNav” below. If you cannot find this text message on your phone, launch the web browser on your phone and go to http://www.telenav.com/sprintvm.

  1. Press the Menu key
  2. Select Web
  3. Select Menu
  4. Select Go to URL
  5. If asked, select Address
  6. After “http://” enter “www.telenav.com/sprintvm”
  7. Select OK or Go

Installing TeleNav

  1. Once you have located the Sprint download site for TeleNav, you should see “TeleNav GPS Navigator is included in your Sprint PCS plan…”
  2. Highlight “Download” and select OK or Go
  3. After the installation completes, select RUN
  4. Select “Allow Always” both times you are asked.
  5. Enter your phone number and if asked, enter the last 4 digits of your phone number as the PIN.
  6. Select OK, Go or Done to start using TeleNav GPS Navigator

Sprint PCS (CDMA) TREO or PPC 6700

Download TeleNav
Within 24 hours of purchasing TeleNav, you will get a text message with a link to download TeleNav. Go to the link (URL) within the text message and then see Installing TeleNav below. If you don’t see the message go to http://splash.telenav.com/sites/pda.

  1. Select Web icon from the Home Screen
  2. In the Link field enter “http://splash.telenav.com/sites/pda”
  3. Select GO

Installing TeleNav

  1. Once you have located the download site for TeleNav, you should see “Thank you for purchasing TeleNav GPS Navigator” .
  2. If you don’t have an external Bluetooth GPS Receiver, see information on where to order one on the page.
  3. Select “Download”, and another Download screen should appear.
  4. Select “Download” again.
  5. After the installation completes, select the TeleNav icon from the home screen.
  6. Select OK twice to accept terms and begin the registration process.
  7. Enter your phone number and enter the last 4 digits of your phone number as the Password or PIN.
  8. Charge the Bluetooth GPS Receiver, place in clear view of sky and press the On button.
  9. When prompted to configure GPS settings, press Yes
  10. Highlight the “TeleNav GPS” option and select OK to continue.
