Santa Clara, California, May 12th, 2025 — Telenav, a leading provider of connected in-vehicle navigation and cockpit entertainment solutions, today announced that Deepal has chosen Telenav's navigation APK and guidance solution, EHP-based road information services, and Spotify music services for the Deepal S7 export program — launching first in Southeast Asia, then expanding to Europe, Australia and New Zealand, the Americas, the Middle East and Africa, and Israel.
For navigation, Telenav delivers a hybrid solution combining an embedded navigation engine with online services, tuned first for Southeast Asia, where road conditions are complex and user needs highly diverse. Working within a tight project timeline, Telenav completed high-quality design and delivery of the navigation software — helping Deepal launch on schedule with fully localized navigation and a clear runway into additional territories.

On the driver assistance side, Telenav's EHP-based road information services give the S7 far more than basic speed limits — supplying rich attributes such as curvature, grade, and ramp structure. The vehicle's driver assistance modules can consume this data to gain higher-dimensional environmental context through curves, on slopes, and at complex junctions, supporting a safer, more capable assistance suite.
The S7 will also feature an embedded Spotify in-car music capability implemented by Telenav, giving users direct access to Spotify's full catalog through the head unit — uniting navigation and entertainment in a single cockpit system for richer audio companionship on every drive.
As the program advances, Deepal will shape the navigation UI, driver assistance presentation, and audio experience around the S7's product positioning, while Telenav continuously optimizes navigation performance, EHP data usage, and music integration based on real-world usage across regions — together sharpening the S7's smart cockpit for overseas markets.
